Long time - no blog

BACK IN FINE FORM
After my hip replacement and the healing of my broken arm I am again mobile and raring to go!
Loading up the Little Ant Van again with some help from Johnny Howard and his magpie friend.  I've got another local school to visit on Tuesday the 4th of June at Merimbula.  It's been a few years since l was at Merimbula PS and I'm looking forward to seeing new faces and showing them all the new book titles.
"My Mate Old Tom" was released just before Christmas and has been a great hit around the coast and beyond.  The cruise ship visitors to Eden loved this story and the Eden Killer Whale Museum.  My new illustrator Ingrid Rudolph did a marvellous job and the museum purchased 6 of the illustrations, 3 are hanging near Old Tom's skeleton where he can keep a good eye on them!

To my delight my latest novel "Shaken Not Stirred" is out now and ready for distibution to all my outlets - starting with a book tour of NSW in July then into Victoria late in August.  It will be great to be on the road again - lots of schools to visit, heaps of book signings and new outlets as well.
Give me a toot and a wave as l go by - I will paste all the details up as they are sorted.
A big suprise for me was Just Fiction - a publisher from Latvia who now is putting out my European release of "Shaken Not Stirred" - they sell throughout Europe, Asia and South America.
The artwork was again done by Ingrid and the photo for the back cover was taken at Quarantine Bay near Eden by myself.
I am pretty rusty with this format but will gather more images and reacquaint myself with blogging - I must admit facebook has been pretty full on for me but l will add more info on this site for all who love a good read.
So saying here is a taste of "Shaken Not Stirred" - Jane Bund, turning 60, feels just a little shaken by the loss of her dearly-departed
husband Freddy.  Her new status as a senior brings on a desperate need to alleviate
encroaching boredom.
Leafing through the Sydney paper as she sips her latte, she comes across an article
that changes her life forever.
Enjoy the roller-coaster ride with Jane and her elderly friends as they take on ASIO
and the CIA, proving that age is no barrier to learning new skills and having fun.
Set in the sleepy seaside town of
Paradise Cove on the Far South
NSW Coast, this spy novel will
Entertain, intrigue and delight you.
